Friday Evening: Arrival & Relaxation

Arrive from 5-7 PM to settle in, unwind, and get ready for a weekend of self-care. Enjoy hormone-healthy snacks and drinks, including Tart Cherry Juice Mock-tails, Hormone-balancing Bites, and Sleep-enhancing Treats. Watch Night Bitch for a fun cathartic community movie night, then soak in the hot tub or indulge in an Epsom salt bath to wind down. Bedtime at 9:30 PM. On this retreat we prioritize rest.

Saturday: Rejuvenation & Transformation

Begin the day with the 30/30/30 method: Hydrate with 30 oz of Electrolytes, Nourish with 30g of protein, and enjoy a 30-minute walk outdoors.

Opening Cacao Ceremony & Women’s Circle followed by Yoga to energize the body. Somatic Healing & Parts Work with the talented Angela DiMario followed by Laughter Therapy with The Funny Yogi to lift the spirts. Then play with Acro Yoga & Thai Massage before Dinner. With large rest breaks spread throughout to read, journal, or nap! And the best part is our evening wind down with Restorative Yin Yoga & a guided Yoga Nidra to help you fall asleep.

Sunday: Empowerment & Connection

Start the morning with the 30/30/30 method and feel energized for the day ahead. Matcha Morning Motivation Talk with The Funny Yogi followed by an inspiring 90 Min Yoga Session with Angela. Closing Circle with snacks to recharge, reflect and celebrate. Depart to return home, nourished and ready to embrace Mother’s Day! We'll send you off with a Bento Box Protein Packed Lunch and your Partner will already have a crockpot recipe cooking when you get home so you can truly enJOY your Mother’s Day with your family.

Meet the Teachers

Jessica & Angela have been playing together for more than a decade through yoga, laughter and learning. They are both Mommies themselves and passionate about bringing healing and joy to other Moms. Check out their bios below (click on the plus signs) for more info on their teaching styles, experience and training.

  • For Angela, Yoga is a way of living,

    A lifetime commitment and deep joy to share. 

    Angela first started practicing yoga with her Mom in High School, who taught yoga in the 70's. With over 20 years of teaching, Angela's creates profound experiences for her students to find their own yoga. Her passion for sharing yoga with others, her creativity and compassion shine through her teaching. 

    Angela's classes blend her experience of many trainings including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Forrest Yoga, Pre & Post Natal, Acro Yoga, and Mat Pilates 1, 2, & 3. 

    She has trained under Ana Forrest, Sri Dharma Mittra, Shiva Rea and many more. These teachers, and many other gifted yogis, including her mother, have guided and enriched Angela’s practice and life as a teacher and student. 

    In 2008, Angela and her sister founded Kula Movement, a Yoga/Pilates studio and Wellness Center in Seattle. In 2018 Angela relocated to Yakima Valley, her hometown, to deepen her connections and give back to the community.

    Angela has since created her own 100 Hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training and also works as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Coach.

  • The Funny Yogi Founder

    Jessica is a 500 Hr RYT , Certified Laughter Yoga Leader and Professional Motivational Speaker. She received her 200 Hr certification in 2011 from YogaFit and then her 500 Hr RYT from The Prana Yoga Center in La Jolla, Ca under the YogaWorks Program in 2013. Certified from the International University of Laughter Yoga in 2015 she started leading a weekly Laughter Yoga Club in Greenlake Park and started leading workshops and Happiness Retreats to Norway in 2018.

    She took Angela’s Advanced Asana 100 Hr Training in Yakima in 2023 to further advance her skills in hands on adjustments and integrate further healing in her own personal practice.

    Her teaching style is both fun and methodical with an equal focus on proper alignment and enJOYment.
